Panchayati Raj In India- Untouchability

The Article in Times Of India on september 6,2010 named as "Dalit Sarpanches face bias in own office" is again an alarming  situation in M.K.Gandhi's state even after 63 years of freedom to india and such feelings of a few sections of society is to be stopped at the earliest.There is a need for immediate action to be taken by the government of india against those tying to continue such curse in India,if  the state government fails to take appropriate actions for implementation of panchyati raj in its true spirit and making it  more popular to nation by the ruling Government .The actions taken should to be a message to others for not repeating such social evils. Similarly the Supreme Court of India, may please take legal actions against such section of  Indian society to curb such problems in Indian society.

 I would like to thank to NGO called navsarjan trust in Gujrat, for goodwork done,who highlighted Untouchability"s existance in panchyati raj.
